What makes our healing water so special?

670 metres below the ground in Gyopáros lies a natural treasure

The alkaline hydrogen carbonate water acts as a gentle aid for rheumatic complaints, and muscle and joint problems.
Many of our guests also report noticeable relief from gynaecological, urological, neurological or skin problems.

Discover what our thermal water can do for you

Our healing water rises to the surface from a depth of 670 metres at a soothing 47 °C – rich in valuable minerals and with officially recognised healing properties since 1999.

How does the water affect your body?

What makes our alkaline hydrogen carbonate healing water special is its versatility. Depending on the temperature, it unleashes different healing powers:

At cooler temperatures (below 34 °C), it soothes inflammation and reduces swelling – ideal if you are suffering from acute symptoms.

At warmer temperatures, it relieves stubborn muscle tension, eases pain and stimulates your body’s self-healing powers. You will feel how cramps ease and movements become easier again.

What conditions can our healing water help with?

Many of our guests come to us with:

  • Back and joint problems (discs, knees, hips, hands, ankles)
  • Osteoarthritis and signs of wear and tear
  • Osteoporosis-related complaints
  • Nerve pain and joint inflammation
  • Rehabilitation following injuries or operations
  • Chronic gynaecological or urological inflammation
  • Certain forms of fertility problems
  • Need for recovery following brain injuries
  • Respiratory complaints
  • Skin problems such as eczema, lichen or psoriasis

Important for your safety

Not every treatment is suitable for everyone. If you have certain pre-existing conditions – such as severe heart problems, high blood pressure, acute infections, tumours, contagious skin diseases, epilepsy, incontinence or other serious illnesses – you should refrain from using thermal baths.

Our advice: speak to your doctor before your visit or contact us. Together, we will determine whether and which treatments are right for you.
